Miles Allen and Maruku Arts: TjukuRpa PuTitja/Bush Stories - fireworks gallery 2023
This exhibition was a collection of paintings and sculptures created by Miles Allen and Anangu artists from Maruku Arts. The artists’ relationship with country (Central and Western Deserts) is at the heart of this exhibition and is present in all the works. This show features paintings by Sandy Willie, Veronica Reid, Reggie Uluru, punu (wooden sculpture) by Billy Cooley and other desert carvers and three-dimensional work by Miles Allen.
